1. Who we are
Velvet Glow is a multi-tenant salon / parlour CRM for business users. The service is not directed at children under 13.
2. Data we collect
- Account details you provide: parlour name, owner name, phone, address, email
- Business data you enter: clients, visits, dues, finance, reminders, notes, custom fields
- Photos you choose to upload (web) or capture (Android; often stored on-device unless uploaded)
- Contact form messages
- Technical logs needed for security and reliability
3. Data we do NOT collect from your device
We do not read your phone contacts, SMS, call logs, precise location, or advertising ID.
4. How we use data
We use your data to provide the website and Android app, support your parlour account, improve the product, moderate unsafe uploads when enabled, and respond to contact requests.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your parlour or client data. Limited data may be processed by hosting / infrastructure providers solely to run the service, or when required by law. Optional image safety checks (e.g. SafeSearch) may process uploaded images.
6. Retention & account deletion
You may request account deletion from Profile (web or app). If you do not sign in again within 90 days, the parlour account and related server data are permanently deleted. Signing in within those 90 days cancels the request. The Android app also clears local photos, SQLite cache, and session data when you delete your account or sign out.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS in production and tenant isolation so one parlour cannot access another’s data.
